I have tried tactile stimulation, but there seems to be the problem of hierarchy of finger domination. The thumb always wants to be first. Just for scratching. Activating the index is a pain, anyway. Try it yourself. Just hit the same key repeatedly on the keyboard. Cannot write anything this way.
